Auction Rules
Registration/Check In
Upon entering the auction, you will receive your bid number. Use only the bid number assigned to you for bidding on silent and live auction items.
Silent Auction
The silent auction opens at 6:00 p.m. The minimum bid and minimum raise for each item is written on the bid sheet by the item. To be valid, bids must comply with these minimums and be legible.
To place a bid, fill your bid amount on the bid sheet. Doing so constitutes a legal contract to purchase that silent auction item at the price you stated, if your bid is the winning bid. The last (highest) valid bid entered prior to closing will be the winning bid.
Live Auction
Live auction will begin following dinner. When bidding, please raise your bid number toward the auctioneer. The live auction will continue until all items are sold.
A bid acknowledged by the auctioneer is a legal contract to purchase the item.
Payment/Check Out
Checks, cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover are accepted for payment of items won. To ease lines at checkout, we are offering the express pay option.
Express Pay
This is the most efficient process for checking out and paying for your auction items.
Express pay allows you to checkout quickly. You can set up the express pay option at the registration desk by signing a credit card receipt. At the end of the auction, you can retrieve your items and gift certificates and head straight home.
Your receipt for your auction purchases will be mailed directly to you. If by chance you do not buy anything, we will void and shred the credit card receipt following the auction.
Pick-Up
Once you have paid for your items please retrieve them from the auction tables and/or checkout station.
