A Note from Your Purpose Driven PTO (January 2007)
Happy New Year from the PTO. We hope your holidays were beautiful, peaceful, and joyful. What a beautiful sing-a-long and cookie swap we had! I heard many parents say that this was the best one ever, and I agree! Thank you Jennifer Allen, the Holiday Team, Mrs. Sorenson, Mrs. Sutton, and all of you who stuck around to help with the clean up.
Please keep your hearts open to volunteering for and participating in the Spring Gala. It is scheduled for March 31st, and we need all families to support this effort in any way you can. It really is a very fun evening, and the PTO helps GSMS raise funds for needed Montessori materials, repairs, supplies, and services that benefit the school, the teachers, and most of all, our children. If you have any questions about the Spring Gala, and where you might fit in on the team, please call Amy Glover at 972-396-1622.
Also, please be on the look-out for information about the Easter celebration and egg hunt. Information should be coming to you soon.
The PTO Executive Team is in need of a couple of parents who might help us by watching our children during the Executive Team meetings. They are generally on the 1st Monday of each month, and they last from 3:45 to 5:00.
