PROGRAMS
TODDLER COMMUNITY
Ages 18 months–3 years
The first 0-3 years of a child’s life are critical to a child’s personality and intellectual development. The GSMIS curriculum revolve around 4 components:
-
Establish bonds and trust with each toddler by communicating and interacting as they feel comfortable and secure in the school environment.
-
The indoor and outdoor environment are designed to address the child’s natural curiosity that promotes excellence, leads to real learning, and satisfies his/her quest for independence, exploration, and socialization.
-
Provide responsive and nurturing caregiving routines as well as rich learning opportunities. As the children explore their surroundings in the Toddler Community, they absorb every aspect of language, movement, and culture.
CASA/PRESCHOOL
Ages 3 - 6 years
The Casa program consists of five main areas including Practical Life/Art, Sensorial, English Language, Math and the exploration of culture including Geography, History, and Science. The children are given mostly individualized instruction by an AMS/MACTE-trained/certified lead teacher. There are no limits to the amount of knowledge a child may obtain during these formative years.
