English as a Foreign Language (EFL)
GSMIS programs provide young children with an opportunity to learn a foreign language while receiving a rich Montessori education. Our English language immersion programs give children the opportunity to learn a foreign or a second language and reap the benefits of early bilingualism for the rest of their lives. Special EFL/ESL programs are available on Saturdays and after Montessori class hours at discounted rates for GSMIS families.
Art
Optional Art classes meet once per week every Saturday for 40 minutes in our dedicated Art Room. Art programs are integrated within the Toddler Community and Casa classes.

Students will begin to study, comprehend, and apply the first four elements of art (line, shape, color, and texture) to their own work. They'll experiment with various media and techniques, as well as their own visual language and creativity.
