Message from the Directress

Through Good Shepherd Montessori International School, Liwayway Watanabe, President, hopes to assist in the training of the next generation in order to benefit from the Montessori educational approach that supports, nurtures, and protects natural development. At GSMIS, we are committed to providing a developmentally engaging and inclusive environment where children are loved, cared for, respected, and motivated to reach their full potential.

We also have the Good Shepherd Language and Arts Services (GSLAS) who can support our graduates to continually study English and hone their talents and gifts from the LORD. We offer ESL program and the Glee club to continue in depth for their English skills and at the same time recognizing and shaping their natural talent in Music and Arts. Fostering their development spiritually, psychologically, emotionally and physically.

STAFF & FACULTY

Each of our Montessori-trained guides has studied both Montessori philosophy and curriculum. All lead Toddler and Casa (ages 3-6) teachers are trained/certified by Montessori Teacher Preparation of the U.S. (MTP of US), American Montessori Society (AMS), and Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE).

Teacher May completed her Bachelors in Philosophy with a cum laude from the university of Philippines and 3-6 early childhood certification from AMS.

Rhea has a 0-3 certification from the Association Montessori Internationale(AMI). She has an engineering degree in ECE from Anna Unniversity, Chennai.
